Many of you had the opportunity to meet Matt Slade while he was working with us from 2014-2020. He was dedicated, hardworking, kind, and had so much to offer the world. When he decided he wanted a change, we were sad to see him leave Cascadilla Tree Care for other employment.
We kept in touch because our connection went beyond simply working together. To be candid, we always hoped he’d come back to work for us again. We eagerly anticipated the arrival of his beloved son, Tucker, and knew Matt would be a tremendous father.
We were devastated to learn of his passing last month. We lost a friend and someone we cared about very much. Our hearts go out to Tucker, Taylor, and all of Matt’s family and friends.
